Cassandra Chappina, BCBA

Owner, Chief Executive Officer

Cassandra is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 20 years of experience providing support to children with a vast range of learning differences and abilities in a variety of settings. She spent the bulk of her career traveling across New York City (never without a bag of toys slung over the shoulder) to provide ABA services to children and families from a range of socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds in the home and community. 

As the program director of a one-to-one ABA therapeutic center, Cassandra’s mission is to foster a supportive and loving environment, while developing child- and family-centered programming to maximize learning opportunities and promote progress towards socially significant and functional skills.

Cassandra is passionate about providing individualized evidence-based ABA services and her approach is heavily influenced by her most important role, her role as a parent. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, two sons, and dog, Tommy. 

For over 13 years in the field, Brielle has had the opportunity to work with individuals ages 3-21 in a variety of settings, including home-based, center-based and school-based programs, as well as summer camps.  She has gained experience in teaching social skills, adaptive skills, communication, and managing challenging behavior. Brielle has served in a variety of leadership positions including Head Teacher at a charter school for students with autism, Clinical Director at a private school for students with autism and is currently the Director of Clinical Operations for Saffron.

Brielle has extensive experience in parent training, as well as staff training and supervising therapists and teams.  She has guided many behavior technicians through gaining their RBT credentials and enjoys mentoring those new to ABA.  She is passionate about engaging families in parent training and improving the quality of life for all her clients. 

Brielle Heinl holds a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and completed coursework towards certification as a BCBA from the University of Massachusetts.  She holds Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst certificates in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Rachel Birger, BCBA

 

Rachel moved to the USA in 2014 from Tel Aviv, Israel. In Israel, Rachel completed her master’s in special education and began her ABA career as a behavior technician while also teaching in special education preschools. Rachel became a BCBA in 2017. She has worked with clients throughout their lifespan, across home, school and clinical settings. In her personal time, Rachel spends time raising her two children and one fur baby. Rachel loves to travel and explore new places around the world. She also loves to cook and to try new restaurants in NYC.
