What Families Often Ask About ABA Therapy in Newark, New Jersey

How do I know if my child needs ABA therapy?

ABA therapy may help if your child has difficulty with communication, behavior, social skills, daily routines, or emotional regulation. We evaluate your child's strengths, challenges, and your family's goals to determine whether ABA is the right fit.

How do you determine how many ABA therapy hours my child needs?

We recommend ABA therapy hours based on your child's assessment results, communication needs, safety, goals, and family priorities. Every treatment plan is individualized and also considers insurance guidelines when appropriate.

Is ABA therapy only for children with autism?

No. While ABA therapy is commonly used for children with autism, we also support children with ADHD, communication delays, executive functioning challenges, and co-occurring developmental needs.

Do you offer in-home ABA therapy in Newark?

Yes. Most therapy takes place at our Maplewood center, but we also provide in-home ABA sessions for families in Newark when additional support is clinically appropriate.

Do you accept Medicaid or NJ FamilyCare?

Yes. We accept Medicaid and help families understand their NJ FamilyCare benefits before services begin, including verifying coverage and explaining eligible services.
